How do i get rid of acne?

I have acne. My mom says it isn't terrible, but its worse than most people at my school. its on my chin, and there's a little of my forehead. I have dry skin and whenever i use acne solutions and medicines the completely dry my skin out, so then i cut back, and the acne comes back. plus I have a lot of acne scars. I need help
