Need help with girls dress?

i want to buy shorts for my gf. but i have no clue and i ended up buying under garments instead. what is needed is a nightwear which is really short and and not tight to the skin. cotton or satin. from where can i buy them in mumbai and what do u call these shorts. girls plz help
