I have very fine thin hair - I need to wash it everyday as it gets a bit greasy on the roots and you can see all my scalp through my hair which I hate! Blurred vision in my left eye?

I've noticed that within the last several days (a little less than a week, maybe?) my left eye has been kind of blurry. I wear contacts, and whether I'm wearing contacts or glasses, it's blurry. Usually, both of my eyes are just fine when reading up close (I'm nearsighted), but my eye is even blurry then. Things seem to double a little (mostly text), but I think that could maybe be my mild astigmatism? For most of the days I've noticed this, my eyes felt like they were dry or had something in them, but it seemed to temporarily subside when I used eye drops. Now, they don't hurt at all. Also, the skin below my left eye (my upper cheek) and the area below my right eyebrow have been pretty tender and kind of red for the last couple of weeks. Could this be related? What could be causing this relatively sudden blurriness?

Not only does it only take 1000 hours to get your license, you'll be around the place where all the trends start, and all of the mist talented hair stylists and students. My left arm has a tingling pain?

So i noticed that i have these bite marks on the bottom of my legs and on my arms. I dont have fleas and i cant see any external creatures crawling on my skin. Hi my name is Chris & I am a 24 year old very skinny guy who is from Brazil & I have a light tan skin color and black hair with brown eyes! For the past 5 years I started growing my hair out and It got really long. It was about 10 inches long and half-way down my back. I usually wore it in a pony tail or did the half & half look. I usually went with a long wet loose curly look and I used moose to style it and on the weekends I straightened it with a flat iron using the Men's Aveda styling serum and I tied my hair up in a half up half down style! Every month I texturized my hair in order to maintain the loose look and every month I would get a trim to get rid of spilt ends. I really enjoyed my long hair and had lots of fun with it. It made me feel very special because very few guys have long hair today! Even though my friends like my long hair & they didn't really care, my family members hated it so much and always ridiculed me all the time and they made me feel bad. They said that girls will never find me attractive, long hair is not in style for guys anymore, no job in downtown mpls will ever hire me and etc. So recently over a month ago they made me chop it all off and I was very sad. I know that you sometimes get skin discoloration on your checks and neck, and I have a little bit of this too, but can you get it on the inside of your mouth too? I went to a dermatologist that was shown on my insurance website. I came well on time, and I had to wait for more than an hour for the doctor to come. The whole 10 minutes that she talked to me was basically a sales pitch..... I told her the products that I have tried on my face and she basically suggested benzol and sallycilic acid(which is what I have had used before?)... She had seemingly no skin treatment expertice and didn't help at all, or even suggest anything but the creams that they were pushing to sell. Now, three month after the horrible sales pitch (for yeltin and acanya<- slightly stronger benzoyl and sallycilic acid and costs over $300 for a month supply) I get a bill! $91 for the office visit with a description of OFFICE VISIT, INTERMEDIATE LEVEL IV DEDUCTIBLE & CO-INS.....Now before and after the visit I have asked the receptionist what my co-pay would be and both times she told me 0, as on my insurance card it said Office Visit: 0..... Now, I would have no trouble with paying if I actually received some help or advice, but why should anyone have to pay for a horrible sales pitch? Is there anything that I can do about this??? my girl and I have been together since september, im 20 and shes 22 and she lives 6 hours away from me...she was supposed to move in my town before the new year started cause the school she's going to is like 30 mins to an hour from me...unfortunately she couldn't get her mom to co sign a lease on an apartment so she had to drop her classes for the semester now...so now she's living at home which is 6 hours away and is doing online classes for a school near her....back in January things changed between us, she was having a change of heart and wasn't sure on wether she still wanted to be with me...soo we decided to take a break,it might seem crazy since were long distance but we just talk less then we r now...apparently she's been diagnosed with anxiety and depression so she's been very very moody as of late...but I've told her since day one that I'm here for her no matter what!...so I'd text her like once every other day, if that!! and if she doesn't answer, she don't answer..so we spoke on the phone last week about school and stuff and then she said that she don't see us getting back together anytime soon...she's like "I wanted space so I can figure out myself and get better from everything" so I said "I know, I respect that you want space and that's fine with me, I was only texting you every now and then just to keep the communication going"...then I said "I just text you to see how your doing every now and then, I don't text u trying to get back with you"...and then shes like "there r times where I can talk you and then there r times where I can't"...and then she said she had to go cause she was doing homework, so I was like I'll talk to ya whenever, take care and we said bye and hung up...this was last thursday and I haven't texted her or called her since...she hasn't gotten back to me at all...soo what's your guys thoughts and ideas?!? any advice would greatly be appreciated..sorry for the all the bad grammar lol..

How serious is this tailbone injury?

About three years ago, I fell off a tree stump that was placed on concrete and landed hard on my butt. My tailbone hurt really bad for the next few hours, but the pain eased up, so I didn't go to the doctor. However, since then, sit-ups have been horrrible. I feel my tailbone in the way, and afterwards, my tailbone has bruises and is sore. Today, we did PT at school that involved doing 30 sit-ups. My tailbone has hurt all day, so I checked it when I got home, and the skin around it has been rubbed off. Is this issue serious enough to have to go to the doctor, or is there an easy way to get around it?

Hi, I'm currently and Aveda student in Florida and I think the school is great! I started in August of this year and I am happy with it so far. I do believe it is worth it. I had to pay around 18,000 which seems like a lot, I know, but if this is really something you want to pursue then this is deffinately the school to go to. You just need to have a copy of your high school diploma or G.E.D. They do not ask for transcripts or S.A.T. scores. The Aveda program is 13 months long but worth it in the end when you graduate. Every salon owner or stylist that I know understands the extensive Aveda program and are glad to accept Aveda graduates into their salons. Aveda really prepares you for a job in a salon right after you graduate. I really hope that this helps, let me know if this is what you decide to do. Would should I use to clear my acne?

I've had acne ever since I was a sophomore and here I am, a senior with the same problem. I have acne from everywhere to my forehead to my chin and it is really severe around my mouth. I can't even count all the different acne solutions I've used in the past three years that havent done anything to my skin. I've tried all the creams, lotions, cleansers, etc and almost every store brand they have, clearasil, neutrogena, clean and clear, st. ives, and nothing ever works. I even tried proactiv and I absolutely hated it. It made my skin really dry and the redness never went away. I was thinking about trying the MaxClarity foam but I have no clue if it's going to be effective. Are there any people out there that are maxclarity users and has it helped at all? Keloids are normal to appear in piercings. If your already prone to keloids,most likely you will get one on there. It doesnt matter how its performed etc etc. All you can do is clean it when you can and put vitamin E soaks and it should go away. My wife and i have been married for 10 months, but we have been together for almost three years. Everytime we have a disagreament she runs to her mother who lives with us for advice, or as she may put it for venting. Okay my mom died 6 years ago. My step dad remarried two years later and he put me out of the house and moved in with her. His new wife is bitter and ignorant. So I cannot see my sister, and my step father is never anywhere to be found so its not like I can talk to him. Everything I want to do with my sister involves her. She will not allow any of my family to see her and she will not allow her to call us. She is always getting smart with my family members. Even when I was able to talk to my sister she(new wife) was always around listening. I am in college and I live with my aunt but my family wants to take my sister in. I have natural black hair. I dyed it for the first time a few days ago at Aveda to a medium brown (permanent). Everything came out fine except for my roots, for some reason those came out orange/red, like a ginger. How can i bring my fried hair back to life?

Ok, my hair has been died numerous amount of times, its had a perm, and its just awful. I use to straighten it EVERYDAY and also blow dry it and curl it and all kinds of stuff. And now, my hair is pretty much dead and i hate it. Also, when i shower, my hair dries really fast and gets all stiff. I know that you sometimes get skin discoloration on your checks and neck, and I have a little bit of this too, but can you get it on the inside of your mouth too? I have a red patch on the inside of my lip and it is almost right where the skin discoloration is on my cheek, but it is red and on the inside and it doesn't hurt or anything. I occasionally chew tobacco too, but I don't think I have done it enough times to have developed any types of skin disease or anything like that. I'm currently in college and am pretty sure I want to pursue an engineering degree. However, a nagging part of me still thinks that I might want to go to medical school. There isn't really any way for me to complete all the requisites for medical school (specifically the life science and o-chem ones) while I'm in college. So I was thinking that once I graduate, if at some point I ever decide I want to go to medical school I would just go to the local community college to pick up whatever classes I need to fill the requirements. Do medical schools care if you do this? Is it frowned upon in the admissions process to get a degree from a major university and then go to a community college for those classes? Theoretically I could take care of them in summer school here but it's kind of expensive so I would rather avoid that.

Well first of all, cut down on all those acne washes, they do damage to your skin and cause redness and drying. You do not want to do more damage to your skin. If i were you, i would schedule an appointment my doctor to ask for TAZORAC. It is an acne cream that works well, cleared me up in a week, and i was a bad case. It doesnt dry your face up, doesnt cause redness, and doesnt have bad side effects, unless youre allergic for it. It is a prescription medicine and it will cost around $80 for a month supply but im sure your insurance will cover it. Dont be shy to go to your doctor. I swear, try TAZORAC cream for a week and youll see something happen.

It's been about a week after I've gotten my first tattoo. It's in color and on my right shoulder. It has scabbed like crazy and most of it has fallen off but I think there's still some scab left that hasn't even peeled yet, it's still there. I've applied A&D ointment for a week since getting my tattoo and recently (yesterday) started applying Lubriderm - Normal to Dry Skin - Sensitive - 100% Fragrance, Dye and Lanolin FREE (is this okay?). But I've noticed (even before switching to Lubriderm) that there's this grayish-white transparent film over my tattoo. Some of my colors are also a little blotchy on some parts. It's not like when I first got it, as if some colors had come off whole with the past scabbing and peeling. AND to top it off, it's ITCHING like crazy! Is something wrong? Will my tattoo scab and peel AGAIN? Is it still healing or will it stay like this?

I am 15 and i am looking for a new hairdresser. I currently have a girl hairdresser and go to salon eclipse. She is nice but i do not like the way she cuts my hair. Honestly, I think that you have something here. I don't say this often either. It's original and definitely intriguing. Read some of Gaiman. He has plenty of twisted darkly whimsical characters and concepts in his novels as well. I know something that helps me with plot is I create conflicting motivations for each character. Then form the plot around the characters trying to achieve these ends. The result should be a complex, almost byzantine storyline.

I need to lose about 20 pounds to get to my goal of 10% body fat. What I've been skin the past month is eating about 1500-1900 cals a day and working out two hours a day with both p90x and insanity. Mix some of that color with a teensy bit of another color of the same shade but has ash in it.Example, when you buy a tube of color, it will have a number on the tube.Lets say you needed a level 9.(It sounds like that would be a good choice for you from what I read from your question) Mix the 9 with a teensy bit of 9A.(That would be a 9 with ash in it)Mix both colors together with 20 volume developer and apply it all over your head.You will actually be able to watch your hair toning down in the mirror. Rinse your hair when you feel it is toned down enough. Usually takes about 10 or 15 minutes. Shampoo and condition your hair then you're done. I have been a hairdresser for 20 years. I don't want my hair to be crunchy or wet-looking when it dries..As of now, i use Aveda Be Curly. My hair is kind of like a wave/curl...and I want it to be curlier. It makes my hair all crunchy and always looks wet. I don't like it, and even when i use a diffuser, it is still wet and my curls don't curl all that greatly.
