What do I do with boyfriend and my exboyfriend?

I'm on vacation with my family. Normally when I'm at home I straighten my hair, put on makeup etc. But because I have been surfing, and in the water my hair is curly and my eyes are bear. My bf (who is like amazing) has been acting a little different but he is stressed so I don't care. My ex how ever, has been acting weirder. Like isolating himself from talking to people (me). He says I have a perfect bf I can talk to, even tho my ex is still my best friend. I tried to get him to stop liking me and be my friend so I sent him a pic with my curly hair and no makeupness and he said I was beautiful and amazing. Help?!?!
