What is a good shampoo that is similar to Aveda and costs less?

I get my hair cut at a beauty school and they use Aveda products. Of course, the stylist wants me to buy their products. I'd love to, but they're too expensive! Is there any other shampoo for color treated hair that is similar to Aveda but cheaper?

If you want an easy fix, go to Sally's Beauty Supply and by a blonde color that is a shade or two darker than the blonde pieces that you don't like that's in your hair. Mix some of that color with a teensy bit of another color of the same shade but has ash in it.Example, when you buy a tube of color, it will have a number on the tube.Lets say you needed a level 9.(It sounds like that would be a good choice for you from what I read from your question) Mix the 9 with a teensy bit of 9A.(That would be a 9 with ash in it)Mix both colors together with 20 volume developer and apply it all over your head.You will actually be able to watch your hair toning down in the mirror. Rinse your hair when you feel it is toned down enough. Usually takes about 10 or 15 minutes. Shampoo and condition your hair then you're done. I have been a hairdresser for 20 years. He's not my boyfriend according to yahoo..we've been in a serious relationship for over a year. advice?

we've been together in a serious relationship for over a year and he tells me loves me and he's really caring when we're together in person. he also has an account on yahoo answers, and from time to time, i look and see what he's answered, it's just interesting to see his point of view on a problem in a way i wouldn't have expected him to answer. just now i looked at his recent answers and he acts like he's single. he answered a question about sex saying "well all the girls i've had sex with so far...", we lost our virginity together a few months ago and we haven't broken up since. this would have to mean he's cheated on me if this is legitamate. and in a question about when to have sex he used the phrase "my girlfriend of the time" which was in reference to me and quite clearly, we haven't broken up. he ended the comment about different types of sex in a winking face. on the question about losing virginity that he answered, he told the girl he lost his a few months after turning 15. he didn't have sex with me until almost a year after that. he's rated women on questions and generally just acts as if he's single on here. if i asked him in person he'd probably say it was for the sake of giving advice. he's a guy who really strongly believes that cheating is the worst thing you can do in a relationship yet he's acting like this. i don't know if he thinks it's because it doesn't count in his mind or...? i don't know what to do or if i should even confront him about this but he's acting like a hypocrite. if i mention this to him he'll get annoyed at me for "stalking" him and call me crazy. what the h*** do i do??
